EURO.REVIEWS / LEGAL DOCUMENTS
Privacy Notice for Reviewers
Information for customers invited to review a purchase, merchant or product.
Why you received an invitation
A merchant with whom you had a purchase or customer experience uses Euro.Reviews to request feedback. The merchant generally decides to send the invitation and is the controller of the order and invitation data. Euro.Reviews processes that data on the merchant’s instructions until you choose to submit a review.
Data received from the merchant
- Name and email address used to deliver the invitation.
- Order reference, order date, language, merchant and shop domain.
- Products, product identifiers, quantity and product image needed for product reviews.
- Invitation delivery and interaction events used for reliability and security.
The invitation must not include payment card data or unnecessary sensitive personal data.
When you submit a review
You choose the rating, text, display name and any optional photograph. The review and selected display name may become public on Euro.Reviews, merchant widgets, public profiles and permitted external feeds. Your email address and full order reference are not intended for public display.
For publication, verification, integrity and independent moderation of the review service, the Operator may act as a separate controller. The merchant remains a separate controller for its customer relationship and its use of reviews on its own channels.
Purposes, AI and recipients
- Deliver the invitation and connect it to a genuine order.
- Publish, translate and display the review in the relevant language and context.
- Detect manipulation, investigate reports and maintain an audit trail.
- Create aggregate analytics or AI-assisted summaries without changing the original review.
- Allow the merchant to reply and resolve customer-service issues.
AI may translate text, identify themes or recommend moderation priority. A human makes the final decision to remove or restrict a review. Data may be processed by the suppliers listed in the Subprocessors document.
Your choices and rights
- You may edit or delete your own review through the secure link or another available verification method.
- You may choose the public display format offered by the review form.
- You may appeal a moderation decision and ask for human review.
- You may exercise applicable data protection rights or complain to a supervisory authority.
Privacy requests can be submitted through the Euro.Reviews privacy request page or by email to tichy@eurion.sk. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns you.
Retention and external copies
Invitation data is retained only as long as needed for delivery, verification, fraud prevention and the merchant’s documented instructions. A public review remains available until you delete it, it is lawfully removed or it is no longer needed for the review service.
Search engines, merchant sites or other authorised recipients may keep cached or independent copies. Euro.Reviews will process valid deletion requests in systems it controls and, where appropriate, notify recipients, but cannot guarantee deletion from unrelated third-party systems.
