EURO.REVIEWS / LEGAL DOCUMENTS
Privacy Policy
How Euro.Reviews processes personal data as operator of the service and public website.
Controller and contact
The controller is European Business Solutions s. r. o., company ID 54230012, registered office Budatínska 3718/20, 851 06 Bratislava - Petržalka, Slovak Republic. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to tichy@eurion.sk.
Euro.Reviews may act in different roles. It is a controller for account administration, billing, security, public profiles, review integrity and independent moderation. It acts as a processor where it handles order and invitation data solely on documented instructions from a merchant; that processing is governed by the DPA.
Data categories
- Account and contact data: name, work email, login provider, company, role, language and communication history.
- Billing data: plan, billing identifiers, company address, tax information, payment status and invoice references; full card data is handled by the billing provider.
- Service data: shops, domains, products, integrations, widget settings, merchant replies, imports and usage records.
- Review data: rating, text, public display name, photographs, language, verification and provenance information.
- Moderation data: reports, evidence, decisions, appeal records, audit logs and communications.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, security events, timestamps, cookie choices and diagnostic logs.
Purposes and legal bases
Purpose | Typical legal basis |
|---|---|
Provide accounts, plans and requested functions | Contract and pre-contractual steps |
Billing, accounting and tax records | Contract and legal obligation |
Security, fraud prevention and service integrity | Legitimate interests and legal obligation |
Publish and moderate public reviews | Requested service, legitimate interests and legal obligations |
Support, contact and dispute handling | Contract, legitimate interests and legal claims |
Optional analytics or marketing technologies | Consent where required |
Where consent is used, it may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Legitimate interests are balanced against the rights and expectations of affected people.
Recipients and international transfers
Data may be shared with authorised staff, the relevant merchant, hosting and email providers, AI providers for enabled functions, security and analytics providers, billing providers, commerce integrations, professional advisers and authorities where legally required.
Some suppliers may process data outside the EEA. Euro.Reviews uses an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard where required. The current supplier list is published in the Subprocessors document.
Retention
- Account and service data is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period needed for closure, support and legal claims.
- Accounting and tax records are retained for the statutory period.
- Public reviews remain available until deleted by the author, lawfully removed or no longer needed for the public review service.
- Moderation and appeal records are retained as necessary to demonstrate fair decisions, prevent abuse and resolve claims.
- Security and diagnostic logs are kept only for the period reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting and legal obligations.
Rights
Depending on the circumstances, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and may withdraw consent. They may complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic or another competent supervisory authority.
A request may require identity verification. Where Euro.Reviews is only a processor, the request may be forwarded to or handled with the relevant merchant as controller.
AI and automated processing
AI may support translation, summaries, draft replies, analytics and moderation triage. Euro.Reviews does not rely on AI alone for a final decision removing a review and does not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about reviewers.
Security, children and changes
Euro.Reviews uses access controls, encryption in transit, backups, logging, least-privilege measures and incident procedures appropriate to the risk. No system can guarantee absolute security.
The service is not directed to children. A person submitting public content should be at least 16 years old or have the required authorisation under applicable law.
This Policy may be updated to reflect legal, supplier or product changes. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably possible.
